I am officially in my third trimester this week! Very exciting for me.
How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I've lost count but Dr. says I'm good!
Maternity clothes? definitely yes
Stretch marks? no
Sleep: still pretty good but getting harder to turn over.
Best moment this week: Making it to the end of a 5k walk in DC. I think I will be taking it easy from this point on. My legs are sore!
Movement: yes, I love it!
Food cravings: still Chocolate Milk. I was worried about all the high fructose corn syrup I was ingesting by drinking all this chocolate milk (seriously, at least a glass a day) so I found an alternative brand sold at our local MOM's grocery store called Santa Cruz. It's not exactly healthy but at least I have an alternative. I've been switching off every other day.

What I miss: sushi!!!
What I am looking forward to: getting a few items knocked off my to-do list (birth classes, newborn baby class, Child Infant CPR class)
Other Updates: We found a day care provider! Finally! This, by far, has been the most difficult baby related task for us.

So cute and on sale...how could I resist?
I bought Jeff and Tyler matching shirts today. It's just too cute, I HAD to do it!

How far along? 25 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I've lost count but Dr. says I'm good!
Maternity clothes? yes
Stretch marks? no
Sleep: pretty good but with LOTS of pillows. Seriously, I can't even see my husband sleeping right next to me because of all the pillows I have!
Best moment this week: It's finally warm outside and I got to walk a lot.
Movement: yes, he's a very active little guy already
Food cravings: Chocolate Milk and Strawberry Yogurt Smoothies

What I miss: cute clothes. I keep getting e-mails from JCrew and Banana Republic...one day soon...
What I am looking forward to: seeing Becky get married at my Church this weekend and hanging out with a bunch of old friends.
Other Updates: I've started a garden and Im very proud to say I havent killed anything yet! 2 kinds of lettuce, tomatos, cherry tomatos, cilantro, and basil.

Baby Pena's Nursery
It has taken me a while to get all my thoughts together on a nursery project. My husband and I love boating and being on the water so we decided on a nautical theme. Here is a mood board I put together for the items I want in the nursery. The room we are using has bright grey walls (Sterling) and white trim (Billowy Down), both are Behr paint from Home Depot.

21 Weeks
We had our 20 week sonogram last weekend and found out Baby Pena is a boy!!! We got some great sonogram pictures of him and even some 4D shots of his cute little face! SOOO exciting!! Now I can start planning a nursery!

Sleep: pretty good but with LOTS of pillows. Seriously, I can't even see my husband sleeping right next to me because of all the pillows I have!
Best moment this week: Best moment about 2 weeks ago was being able to feel the baby. So very cool to feel that he's happily moving around. And while we were listening to his heartbeat at the doctors office he kicked the doppler! I guess he didnt like being poked!
Movement: yes, he's a very active little guy already
Food cravings: Once I get something in my head I have to have it. Im trying to be good about giving into my cravings and now that the weather is good I will be able to be outside more.

What I miss: sushi, I would say beer but I never really liked beer before, that is a reason I was convinced it was a boy - I have never craved beer before!
What I am looking forward to: seeing my baby boy for the first time
Other Updates: I am heading back to my hometown this weekend to hang out with my prego best friends - we are having a slumber party complete with 80's music, and junk food!
